There is really no such thing as the perfect marriage. All relationships have their ups and downs. Yet the key is to not let the down times discourage you or blind to the good times that you have had in the past and will have again in the future. As in many other things in life, it is easy to quit and harder to stick with it.
Yet nobody ever became a violin virtuoso by quitting when the lessons got tough. A good relationship is much the same. You need to practice at it and, at times, you may feel the need for a good coach to help you master some of the trickier parts of the program.
Marriage guidance counselors can help keep your relationship on track and put your current difficulties in true perspective. When in doubt, ask your coach for some extra instruction.
