Brow lamination is a technique that is applied to eyebrows to correct them an give them a permanent desirable shape. This is done by changing an eyebrow shape using a chemical solution to shape the hairs that compose it. Firstly a cream is applied that breaks down bonds in the eyebrow hair to make it softer so that it can be manipulated to form the desired shape. Another chemical is then applied to rebuild the hair bonds and to permanently set the eyebrow hairs into their new shape.
This is a great technique for people that suffer from unruly, flat, downward growing or otherwise unattractive eyebrows. Eyebrow lamination can change the direction that the hairs are facing to give eyebrows a more uniform look and to improve the shape of their arch. The results of the procedure generally last between four and six weeks and, with proper care, can last as long as eight weeks.
