If you’re taking a family vacation in Los Angeles, you’ll probably visit at least one of the area’s theme parks. However, one of the region’s best family oriented attractions is the Kidspace Museum in Pasadena, which is aimed at children aged 10 or under. Most of the interactive and educational exhibits are located outdoors, and include a kid friendly TV studio, a nature exchange and a physics center. If your kids like to run around, they won’t be disappointed; the 3.5 acres are home to several water play areas, a rock climbing area and a tricycle track. Much of the museum is educational as well as fun, and Harvest Corner informs kids and parents about food origins, the concept of the food chain and healthy eating choices. Bean Sprout café offers food that appeals to picky young eaters, and of course there’s an on site gift shop.
