Vinyl Discs Making A Comeback

These days it’s easy to buy pop vinyls at yard sales, flea markets and in thrift stores. And of course, you can also buy vinyl records online although arguably that isn’t as much fun as coming across a vinyl 33 or 45 hidden away at the back of a shop. The vinyl disc has definitely made a comeback in recent years, and many top artists of today and the past few decades have seen their recordings re-released on vinyl. There’s perhaps something satisfying about removing a record from its sleeve and placing it on the turntable carefully to avoid static, and many older people can remember doing just that. Many collectors of vinyl pop and rock records collect them for nostalgia’s sake, although many have also realized that some vinyl recordings are incredibly valuable, including those by the Beatles, Elvis Presley, and Miles Davis.
