All internal combustion engines produce a lot of heat during there operation and need to be cooled to help them maintain their operational efficiency. This is easily achieved by the installation of a thermo fan that can help to cool the engine. This fan has to work in conjunction with the cooling liquid that passes through radiators that circulate the coolant around the engine.
These fans are positioned between the radiators and the engine and can be especially useful when a vehicle is moving slowly and does not get the advantage of external airflow, that also plays its part in maintaining equitable temperatures for engines.
These cooling fans are often driven by the engine, but some of them are driven electrically and will work only when the internal temperatures in the engine are high and it is necessary to cool it.
