If you’re a Brit living in the US, there is probably a British food shop within driving distance, especially if you live in the Northeast, Florida or California. In most of these shops, you can expect to find a wide range of imported foods, including traditional bacon and sausages, (usually known as bangers) cheeses, and those delicious delicacies, the Cornish pasty and the pork pie. Most stores also sell a range of cakes and cooking products, along with candy and chocolate that you can’t otherwise easily find. And of course, Brits love their tea, and you can expect to find a variety of popular British tea brands that British people can’t live without. Some stores sell souvenirs, and also stock seasonal items such as Easter candy and Christmas goodies. Look for one of the many online British stores if you don’t have one near you.
