Getting ITIL Foundation Certification

ITIL Foundation Certification is the intermediate certification in the ITIL Qualification Scheme. To get the Foundation Certification, you will have to score an 80 percent on an open-book examination that includes a mix of multiple-choice and written questions. Candidates who are successful in passing the open-book examination are awarded a Certificate in Information Technology (ITIL) Foundation. The certificate carries a five-year warranty, so a candidate must use the certificate for a minimum of five years before it becomes invalid.
